High Tunnel Installed at Good Hope Farm

Good Hope Farm’s first high tunnel was installed over the course of several Saturdays in February as part of a hands-on workshop series. Fred Baldwin from Inter-Faith Food Shuttle and Gena Moore from Carolina Farm Stewardship Association shared their experiences and expertise with using high tunnels with the attendees. In addition, Wake County Soil and Water Conservation District and NC Cooperative Extension provided take-home resources about construction and maintenance. Lunch was provided thanks to donations from Irregardless Café, Zoë’s Kitchen, and The Fresh Market. We are excited to have this infrastructure in place for our farmers!
